The current Facility Operating Licenses for DCPP Units 1 and 2 expire at midnight November 2, 2024 and August 26, 2025, respectively.

By this application, PG&E requests that the DCPP Facility Operating Licenses be extended for 20 years beyond their current expiration dates. The application also applies to renewal of the source, special nuclear, and by-product materials licenses that are included in the Facility Operating Licenses.Enclosure 1 contains a compact disc (CD) of the license renewal application (LRA), excluding Appendix E, in accordance with 10 CFR Part 54. Enclosure 2 contains a CD of LRA, Appendix E, Applicant's Environmental Report -Operating License Renewal Stage, in accordance with 10 CFR Part 54.23 and 10 CFR Part 51, Subpart A. The CDs are formatted in a manner that is consistent with "Guidance for Electronic Submissions to the NRC", Revision 5, dated June 25, 2009.The commitments being made in this submittal are listed in the LRA, Appendix A, Table A4-1. In addition, it is understood that 10 CFR Part 54.21(b) requires that each year following submittal of the LRA and at least 3 months before scheduled completion of the NRC review, an amendment to the LRA must be submitted that identifies any change to the current licensing basis of the facility that materially affects the contents of the LRA, including the Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR)supplement.
