Subject:

Summary of monitoring well data results o The tritium levels in all the monitoring wells have stabilized since repairs to the condensate lines.

o The levels have decreased in two of the wells south of the concrete circ water tunnel (which may form an underground dam).

o The decreasing trend in tritium concentrations in the two southern wells could indicate that the plume is no longer flowing over the tunnel and now largely resides to the north of the tunnel between the condensate transfer building and the intake structure.

o Despite the steady or decreasing sample data, the licensee is not yet ready to positively state that the 1" CRD minimum flow line can be ruled out and will proceed with excavation and inspection plans.
