OpE Input for Friday, May 1 The three items below were in the screening summary for 4/30. I'm very interested to know if there are any updates. I'm hearing through the grapevine that Millstone is having more problems with EDGs?? Thanks!

Outside of Scope Barber,

2. Oyster Creek -- Search for Source of Tritiated Leakage Continues (From Region Morning Call & Region Staff) -- Another hole was found, this time in the 10" hotwell reject line.

The licensee had performed guided wave testing on the affected pipe, and after finding no indications of holes was flushing it with condensate when the hole exposed itself by washing sand away. The licensee believes that this section of piping was outside the range of the wave testing that was performed, and is now re-examining other guided wave testing results to determine if they can be relied upon with any confidence. The licensee is replacing about 40 feet of this 10" piping and 40 feet of the 8" piping previously found to have a hole. They plan to have this completed by the weekend. They also plan to have divers perform a visual and UT examination of the CST for signs of degradation by early next week.
