NRC technical staff has provided the attached draft Request for Additional Information (RAI) related to the Exelon Request for Exemption for Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station (PBAPS),

Units 2 and 3 dated March 6, 2009. The submittal seeks exemption from the provisions of Title 10 of The Code of Federal Regulations, Part 50 (10 CFR 50), Appendix R,Section III.G, Fire Protection of Safe Shutdown Capability. (TACs ME0855/0856). After reviewing the draft RAIs, please contact me at 301-415-3204 to discuss the need for a teleconference concerning the RAIs and to discuss a due date for the response.
