co.py UNITED STATES ATOMIC ENERGY COMMISSION LICENSE AMENDMENT for DELIVERY OF RADIOACTIVE MATERIAL to a CARRIER FOR TRANSPORT Pursuant to the Atomic Energy Act of 1954 and Title 10, Chapter 1, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 30, "Rules of General Applicability to Licensing of Byproduct Material", Part 70, "Special Nuclear Material", as appropriate, and Part 71, "Packaging of Radioactive Material for Transport", the follow-ing amendment to the license identified below is hereby issued, authorizing the licensee to deliver radioactive material to a carrier for transport, and is subject to the conditions specified in that license and to the condi-tions specified below:

Description Inner container is a 11 5/16" ID by 52" long minimum 20-gage thick steel removable head drum with bolted ring closure.

Inner container is centered and supported in a 22 13/16" ID by 66 3/4" long steel outer container of minimum 20-gage thickness.

Closure of the outer container is by a deep fitting slip cover which is secured to the outer container by four tie bolts.

Center-ing and support mechanism is minimum 5 1/4" thick consisting of spirally wrapped layers of corrugated cardboard and innermost 12" diameter cardboard and 1/2" thick plywood spacers are placed in each end of the card-board tube.

A wood'spacer is positioned in the inner container to restrict the geom-etry of the contents.

structed in accordance with Kerr-McGee Corporation Drawing NPD-206-3022 (Rev.

2).
