INDIAN POINT NUCLEAR GENERATING UNIT NO.2 - CORRECTION TO TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS (TAC NO. MD7501)
Dear Sir or Madam:
The purpose of this letter is to issue the following typographical correction to the Indian Point Nuclear Generating Unit No.2 (IP2) Technical Specifications (TSs).
By letter dated October 29,2008, Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession 1\\10. ML082700099, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued License Amendment No. 256 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-26 for IP2. Although not a part of the amendment request, a typographical error was introduced on TS Page 3.5.2-2 by inadvertently revising the position of valve 856F from closed to open in Surveillance Requirement 3.5.2.1. Please replace the corresponding page from the TSs with the corrected TS page 3.5.2-2 enclosed with this letter.

31 days SR 3.5.2.3 Verify each ECCS pump's developed head at the test flow point is greater than or equal to the required developed head.
In accordance with the Inservice Testing Program SR 3.5.2.4 Verify each ECCS automatic valve in the flow path that is not locked, sealed, or otherwise secured in position, actuates to the correct position on an actual or simulated actuation signal.
