OC LRI Daily Update Nov 3 OC LRI Outage Commitments Inspection Day 7 (Monday)

Schedule Change for Exit Meeting Thursday, Nov 6 will be an On-site Debrief Monday, Nov-10 will be a Telephonic Exit Meeting, from Region [time to be determined]

Drywell Structural Integrity Issues or Concerns

1) Sand Bed Bay-11 (exterior drywell shell) has a coating defect. Details are discussed in a separate e-mail.

Repairs are scheduled to start on Nov 4.

Inspection Progress

17) Progress remains Slow. Drywell NDE activities still behind schedule.

'2) The more significant drywell NDE data will not be available for review in sufficient time to support a Thursday Exit Meeting, and the Bay-1 1 coating repair is expected to not be complete.

3) Paul Kaufman is on-site to complete his ISI inspection, and to assist, as needed.

Today's Inspection Activities

1) Reviewed VT-1 and UT examination records for all 10 sand bed bays. One issue, regarding the characterization of the Bay-i1 coating defect, is being reviewed.

2) Reviewed Bay-1 1 coating repair plan.
