WATTS BAR NUCLEAR PLANT (WBN) UNIT 1 - NRC REGULATORY ISSUE

SUMMARY

(RIS) 2008 PREPARATION AND SCHEDULING OF OPERATOR LICENSING EXAMINATIONS RIS 2008-16 was issued by NRC on June 27, 2008, and requested information regarding WBNs projected operator licensing examination schedules and the estimated number of applicants. TVA responded to the RIS in a letter dated July 28, 2008. This letter updates the initial license examination and Generic Fundamentals Examination schedules submitted in TVAs July 28, 2008, letter. Therefore, please find enclosed an NRC Form 536 that reflects WBNs current proposed schedules. The information provided in the enclosure was provided informally to Mr. Phillip Capehart, NRC Region II, by Mr. Ronald Crews, WBN Operations Training.
