ýýA-Sensitfi ý-Not For 6iic Dise DAILY STAFF NOTES REGION I November 3, 2008 Region I inspectors are currently conducting the Oyster Creek license renewal commitments inspection. On November 2, an inspector entered a drywell sandbed bay and confirmed Amergen's reported identification of a "blister" in the epoxy coating on the drywell. The blister is 1/4 inch soft-spot with a six inch-long brown stain adjacent to it and is dry to the touch. The inspector observed two other blisters that did not have a brownish stain. The cause and significance of the indications is not yet known. Amergen will brief the staff on November 3 on planned repairs, apparent cause, and extent of conditions.
