OC LRI Daily Update Oct 28 OC LRI Outage Commitments Inspection Day 2
==bspection Pors
- 1) Progress is Slow. Licensee's NDE activities are behind schedule. Drywell sandbed NDE, scheduled to start early this morning is still on hold. Dave Lew did a drywell tour, but sandbed access not yet established.
t
- 2) The coordination between their LR people and outage work management has been weak. There were als some dosimetry problems [now corrected]. As a result, we've missed several inspection opportunities,
- ifi-g some [less critical] drywell UTs. I raised this concern during my daily debrief with them.
Today's Inspection Activities
- 1) Drywell cable inspection, for indications of accelerated insulation aging (3 hours3.472222e-5 days
8.333333e-4 hours
4.960317e-6 weeks
1.1415e-6 months
in the D/W with 2 electricians & a design engineer). In general, cables looked ok. No significant deficiencies noted.
- 2) Fatigue Monitoring Program reviewed. No changes identified to the list of high cumulative usage factor (CUF) components.
- 3) Fire barrier inspection inside a switchgear (periodic surveillance program). Nothing noteworthy.
LR Commitment Issues or Concerns None.
Drywell Structural Integrity Issues or Concerns None.
NJ State Interface Good.
