PS: Pete said their outage has slipped by 4-days from the previous schedule that he send me, and the Cschedule duration of only 2 days, for all of the drywell liner ISI work was unrealistic, and will need to bJ J*i.etched out over a longer time period.

- John, he external drywell UT measurements are essential to compare with the readings taken in 2006. They will need to match up the exact locations from 2006 (which they marked), take thickness readings with UT and compare to the same locations. This is as important as the 19 UT reading locations inside containmenI Also, do they plan on removing any concrete grout inside the two trenches to look for evidence of water?
If you let me know the conference number I could call into the discussion next week. I'll be at Salem part of the week, but can arrange to call in. I'd prefer to listen and participate. A copy of their inspection procedures for these efforts would be good to review also.

- Tim, their outage schedule is preliminary. As such, it's subject to change without notice, but outage schedules tend to not change vert much.
For Drywell Bay access, their schedule shows re-installation of bay shield bags and floor plugs within 1 to 2 days after their ISI VT & UT of the Bay is done. So, I would have to say that the Bays would probably not be accessable by Nov 2 or 4.
The schedule does show an ROV Video activity for the Bays, about a day prior to the ISI activities.
When you sak about "external drywell UT" do you mean from the sand bed area?
I plan to have a call with OC next week, to get more details of scope and schedule, so any additional questions or comments you have, will only help me better the right info from them.

Oyster Creek Drywell Inspection Tim, for the 00 License Renewal Outage Inspection, here's their schedule for drywell liner work.
- 1) Can you still support the 00 inspection on Oct 28-29?
This conflicts with Salem but can be worked out. How firm do you think this schedule is? Can all the bays be available for our inspection on 11/2 & 11/3?
- 2) Is there anything noticeably missing from their work list?
Where are the external drywell UT measurements? (I think this is important to our position.) Are they plannina pn video taping the Bay visual inspections? When will they complete VT data sheets for the Bays?
,3) Is there a particular Sand Bed Bay of greater interest to focus on?

I would say, at least, the Bays (3, I think) we looked at during the 2006 inspection. I'd have to go back and Idok at the Inspection Report to be sure which ones they were.
