- 2. Oyster Creek License Renewal Inspection: The region implemented the midcycle inspection plan to conduct a commitments inspection for license renewal activities at Oyster Creek. The inspection was unique since this is the first plant entering the period of extended operations (PEO) on April 9, 2009 and the October 2008 was the last outage before the PEO. Good insights were developed in order for the region to issue PNO-1-2008-012 in light of considerable public attention to the matter and the significant level of involvement by the State of New Jersey. The inspection report will be issued in January 2009. (Richmond and Team)
