Oconee Nuclear Station, Units 1, 2, and 3 McGuire Nuclear Station, Units 1 and 2 Catawba Nuclear Station, Units 1 and 2 Docket Number 71-0266 Request for Quality Assurance Program Approval for Radioactive Material Packages No. 0266 Pursuant to 10CFR71.101, Duke commits to applying the most recently approved revisions to Duke Energy Carolinas Quality Assurance Topical Report, Duke-i-A, in regard to procurement; maintenance, repair and use of shipping packages for radioactive materials. All other activities (i.e., design, fabrication, assembly and modifications) shall be satisfied by the NRC approved programs of the package supplier as specified in each individual NRC Certificate of Compliance which is issued to the package-supplier.
The current approval provided by Quality Assurance Program Approval for Radioactive Material Packages-No. 0266 is scheduled to expire July 31, 2009; therefore, your prompt approval is requested.
