OC Change Management of LR Commitments FYI, some time back, I asked OC if they had changed any LR commitments, and if so, how had they controlled
[managed] the change.
In response, they provided 2 commitment change packages, posted on their IMS database, which we have access to.
- 1. Bolting Integrity, used an NEI type commitment change process.
- 2. Rx Vessel Axial Weld Examination, used an NEI type commitment change process. In addition, used 50.59 because it would have involved a change to a commitment described in their FSAR, had the FSAR been revised to include LR items.
Based on these two examples, it looks like their administrative controls, for LR commitment changes, are in very good shape.
