X0 no Ol-NNXEDTP?ý5 John Richmond 7 R Wednesday, August 06, 2008 12:19 PM David Kern; Ronald Bellamy; Scott Barber; Raymond Powell Richard Conte; Doug Tifft OC Mid Cycle package Update for IP 71003 Oyster Creek's Mid Cycle package shows IP 71003 as a proposed MC 2515 App-C inspection, during OC's October 2008 refueling outage.
However, RPS Report 22 lists two (2) different IP 71003 inspections, as follows:
2008 Oct 27-31, Outage License Renewal Commitments Inspection [2 inspectors, 1 week]
2009 March 9-13 & 23-27, Non-outage License Renewal Commitments Inspection [Team, 2 weeks]
Because Oyster Creek enters the period of extended operations on April 9, 2009, the non-outage portion of IP 71003 [2-week Team insp] will need to be performed prior to the completion of the ROP-9 End of Cycle process.
Therefore, I recommend that the Mid Cycle package be revised to CLEARLY show the two different IP 71003 App-C Inspections, as scheduled in RPS.
