Describe activity to be performed Conduct of Operations P R The RO is given a turnover sheet that states a RX S/U is in progress and then parameters that indicate the reactor is critical. He has to realize the Reactor is Critical or will be critical prior to the ECP and take actions per PPM 3.1.2 which states to: stop control rod withdrawal and notify the CRS. He will fill out an attachment indicating what his next action will be and the basis for that action.
Conduct of Operations N R The RO candidate is given plant parameters and a RRC-P-1B cavitation alarm that is alarmed. The task is to determine if the alarm is valid or not, and based on decision, what action should be taken. A sheet will have 3 choices for actions and individual circles choice.
Equipment Control N R The RO Candidate is given the task of determining the clearance order boundary and tagging requirements for FPC-P-1A.
Radiation Control M R The RO candidate is given a survey map, location of a job to be performed and an accumulated dose. A sheet is filled in with answers for two questions - earliest time admin dose could be exceeded and maximum stay time without exceeding admin dose limit.
Emergency Plan NOTE: All items (5 total) are required for SROs. RO applicants require only 4 items unless they are retaking only the administrative topics, when 5 are required.

Describe activity to be performed Conduct of Operations N R The SRO candidate tasked with determining if any of three Reactor Operators can be called into work to cover the upcoming shift. He is given previous work history of the three Reactor Operators.
Conduct of Operations M R The SRO candidate is given plant and component status during a plant startup. The task is to determine if a Mode change to MODE 2 is allowed.
Equipment Control N R The SRO candidate is given a request to allow or disallow a move of a heavy load over the Spent Fuel Pool and a copy of PPM 1.3.40 and LCS 1.9.2. PPM 1.3.40 attachment 7.5 should be referenced which has 3 requirements to satisfy. Requirement #3 will not be satisfied and the move should not be allowed.
Radiation Control N R The SRO candidate is given plant information and directed to perform a QEDPS using the QEDPS computer program.
Emergency Plan D R The SRO candidate is given plant information and a report of a bomb being found in the A Service Water Pump House. The task is to decide of an Emergency Plan upgrade (from a UE) is required. An upgrade to a SAE is required and a Classification Notification Form will be filled out.
