As requested by Reference 1, enclosed are the 2008 Foreign Ownership, Control, or Influence (FOCI) Certifications of Southern California Edison Company (SCE) (Enclosure 1) and Edison International (EIX) (Enclosure 2).
New Lists of Owners, Officers, Directors, and Executive Personnel (OODEP) of each company, updated as of March 9, 2009 for SCE and March 9, 2009 for EIX, are included in the enclosures. Changes from the lists of SCE and EIX OODEP, previously submitted to the NRC by Reference 2, are described in the Annex A to each of the certifications. Copies of Schedule 13Gs relating to EIX, which substantiate ownership interests greater than 5%, are also enclosed.
In accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 2.390(a)(6), SCE requests that the designated information in the enclosed Lists of OODEP be withheld from public disclosure. The specified information includes birth dates and places, and social security numbers of individual directors and officers. Disclosure of this information would constitute an unwarranted invasion of personal privacy.
Consistent with a conversation between Mr. Keith Everly (NRC) and Ms. Linda T.
Conklin (SCE), additional time was allowed to provide a complete response.
