This letter confirms a Category 3 public meeting which has been scheduled for April 14, 2009, at 06:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. (EST). The enclosed meeting notice provides additional details. The purpose of the meeting is to provide opportunities to discuss the annual assessment of the Watts Bar Nuclear Unit 2 Construction Project with the public. The NRC will be available to ensure the publics issues and concerns are understood and considered.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs Rules of Practice, a copy of this letter will be made available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's document system (ADAMS).
