Duke Energy Carolinas, LLC Oconee Nuclear Station, Units 1, 2, and 3 Docket Nos. 50-269, 50-270, 50-287 Supplemental Response to Request for Additional Information Associated with Cyber Security Features of the Oconee Nuclear Station Reactor Protective System and Engineered Safeguards Protective System Digital Upgrade Duke Energy Carolinas, LLC (Duke) provided responses to two request for additional information (RAI) questions associated with the cyber security features of the Reactor Protective System (RPS) and Engineered Safeguards Protective System (ESPS) design change by letters dated September 30, 2008, and November 6, 2008. The Enclosure provides additional information associated with Duke's responses.

The Enclosure contains a description of a design feature that secures the RPS/ESPS from electronic vulnerabilities. As such, Duke considers the information in the Enclosure sensitive information and requests that it be withheld from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR 2.390.
