REQUALIFICATION PROGRAM INSPECTION - (SEABROOK STATION)
Dear Mr. St. Pierre:
In a telephone conversation on November 10, 2008, Mr. Ed Spader, Seabrook Operations Training Supervisor, and Mr. Peter Presby, NRC Operations Engineer, discussed the upcoming NRC operator requalification inspection, scheduled for December 2008. It was agreed that the inspection date would be moved, at the NRCs request, from December 2008 until the 4th quarter of Calendar Year 2009.
This operator requalification inspection, last performed in 2007, is normally conducted on-site every other year. It was rescheduled earlier this year from its originally planned date in 2009 to the 4th quarter of 2008, in order to equalize the NRC Region I Operations Branch workload.
However, competing scheduling priorities necessitate changing the inspection date back to 2009.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC=s ARules of Practice,@ a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of the NRC=s document system (ADAMS).
ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (The Public Electronic Reading Room).
