RE: OC Fatigue Issue & State of NJ

1) Fatigue Monitoring is an on-line (plant at power) activity. There is no outage activity related to fatigue monitoring [at least as far as I know]. Therefore, there are no outage inspection activities associated with fatigue monitoring.
2) If an NJ DEP inspector wants to review licensee documents [calc's, etc.], that sounds like an independent matter between State of NJ and Exelon. If that happens, we might expect some questions or comments from Ron Zak or Rich Pinney. We'll deal with that when it happens.
3) I have a call setup with Rich Pinney for next week Wednesday (9/3), to discuss the upcoming LR Outage Commitments Inspection [scheduled for week of Oct 27]. I expect Ron Zac to also be on the call. I do not plan on discussing fatigue monitoring during the call, as it is not part of our outage inspection scope.

RE: Fatigue Issue & State of NJ if state is reviewing it why do we need to review it.

Fatigue Issue & State of NJ

FYI, State of NJ has-requested a review of the actual calculation developed by AmerGen to address the nozzel fatigue (cumulative usage factor) issue. Ron Zak is tentatively scheduled to review the calc in early September either at OC or at the corporate office.
