WATTS BAR UNIT 2 COMBINED LICENSE APPLICATION
Dear Mr. Puype:
On April 27, 2008, the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) provided the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) the Watts Bar Unit 2 docketed application. August 12, 2008, DHS conducted a site visit to complete a portion of the activities for the new reactor consultation for Watts Bar Unit 2. During the August 2008, NRC - DHS monthly consultation meeting, your staff established a review period to complete the Watts Bar Unit 2 consultation activities.
DHS staff identified November 7, 2008 as the completion date for the written Consultation Report for Watts Bar Unit 2. If there are any questions or concerns regarding the information provided in this letter, please dont hesitate to contact me.
