The NRC staff has reviewed your application dated July 28, 2008, to adopt TSTF-475R1 on control rod notch testing frequency, and concluded the application provides sufficient technical information in sufficient detail to enable the NRC staff to proceed with its technical review and make an independent assessment regarding the acceptability of the proposed amendment in terms of the regulatory requirements, and the protection of the public health and safety and of the environment.
