- PERFORMANCE DISCUSSION MEETING CATAWBA NUCLEAR STATION - DOCKET NOS. 50-413 AND 50-414
Dear Mr. Morris:
This refers to the meeting conducted at your staffs request at the Region II Office in Atlanta, Georgia, on August 1, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting was to provide the NRC staff with an update of plant performance at the Catawba Nuclear Station. A list of attendees and a copy of your presentation handout are enclosed.
The topics discussed during the meeting included current plant performance, current challenges, and future plans at your Catawba Nuclear Station. It is our opinion that this meeting was beneficial in that it provided the NRC staff with a better understanding of the ongoing activities at the Catawba Nuclear Station.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS).
