WATERFORD UNIT 3 - NRC INITIAL OPERATOR LICENSING (OPERATING TEST) EXAMINATION APPROVAL (05000382/2008-301)
Dear Mr. Walsh:
The purpose of this letter is to confirm the final arrangements for the upcoming operator licensing examinations at Waterford 3.
The NRC has completed its review of the operator license applications submitted in connection with this examination and separately provided a list of approved applicants to Keith Vines, Senior Operations Instructor. Note that any examination waivers and applications denials have been addressed in separate correspondence.
The NRC has approved the operating test portion of the examination. The NRC staff will administer the operating tests during the week of March 24, 2008. As of the date of this letter, we have not authorized the written examination. The written examination will be approved when the examination review is completed.
Please contact your Chief Examiner, Brian Larson at (817) 860-8172, if you have any questions or identify any errors or changes in the license level (RO/SRO) or type of examination (partial or complete written examination and/or operating test) specified for each applicant.
