ZION NUCLEAR POWER STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2 - REQUESTS FOR NRC APPROVAL OF PROPOSED LICENSE TRANSFERS AND CONFORMING ADMINISTRATIVE LICENSE AMENDMENTS (TAC Nos. J00341 AND J00342)
Dear Mr. ONeill:
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff has received your application dated January 25, 2008, requesting NRC approval of a proposed transfer of the licenses for Zion Nuclear Power Station, Units 1 and 2 (Zion) to ZionSolutions. You also requested administrative amendments to the licensees consistent with the proposed license transfer.
We have completed the initial processing, which is an administrative review, and have accepted your application for a more detailed technical review. The more detailed technical review may identify omissions in the submitted information or technical issues that require a request for additional information. If needed, these will be forwarded to you in the future. We currently anticipate completing our review by December 19, 2008.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs Rules of Practice, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records component of NRCs Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS).
