Generating Station CITIZENS' PROPOSED QUESTIONS REGARDING NRC STAFF ERRATA TO THEIR TESTIMONY PRELIMINARY STATEMENT In accordance with an Order from the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board (the "Board"), dated August 28, 2007, these proposed questions for the Board to ask Dr. Mark Hartzman of the NRC Staff are submitted on behalf of Nuclear Information and Resource Service, Jersey Shore Nuclear Watch, Inc., Grandmothers, Mothers and More for Energy Safety, New Jersey Public Interest Research Group, New Jersey Sierra Club, and New Jersey Environmental Federation (collectively "Citizens").

OARIMINE PROPOSED QUESTIONS

1. Proposed Questions for Dr. Hartzman A. Purpose The purpose of the questioning is to establish why Dr. Hartzman changed his testimony and whether he regards the change as significant.

B. Proposed Questions I. How did you learn that your rebuttal testimony contained a misstatem ent?

2. When you found this out, did you regard the misstatement as significa: nt?
3. Please explain your answer number 2.
4. Who decided that it was necessary for you to change your testimony?
5. Isn't it possible that the corrosion of the drywell actually extends furth .er than shown in Dr. Hausler's plots, which did not cover the whole of the drywell?
6. Do you now believe that the drywell shell could have an effective factor of safety of less than 2.0 during refueling?

7, What is the likelihood of the effective factor of safety being less than 2.0?
