REVISED MILESTONE SCHEDULE FOR TSTF TRAVELER 498, REVISION 0, A RISK INFORMED EVALUATION OF EXTENSIONS TO CONTAINMENT ISOLATION VALVE COMPLETION TIMES (BAW-2461)

Dear members of the TSTF:
By letter (Agencywide Documents and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No.ML072670173), dated September 24, 2007, the TSTF Owners Group informed the U.S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) of the need for additional time required to address outstanding Requests for Additional Information (RAIs) regarding TSTF-498, Revision 0, Risk Informed Containment Isolation Valve Completion Times (BAW-2461). You have stated that the revised expected RAI response date is now October 19, 2007. Based upon this information and discussions with Brian Mann the current schedule is being revised as follows:
Schedule for review of TSTF-498, Rev.0 Schedule Date Receive TSTF-498, Rev.0 RAI response letter 10/19/2007 Issue Draft TSTF-498, Rev.0 response to Federal Register Notice for Comment (FRNFC) 11/30/2007 Issue Final TSTF-498, Rev.0 response to Federal Register Notice of Availability (FRNOA) 02/29/2008 Should circumstances lead to anticipated or actual schedule slippage in the review of the above TSTF, the causing party is responsible to promptly inform the other in writing and to coordinate with the impacted party to re-establish and publish an appropriately revised schedule. Early completion of any activity will not necessitate schedule revision.
