Dear Mr. Dyer:

I appreciate your letter dated June 11. Your letter responds to my letter of May 8, 2007, but it fails to~answer my concerns. I have written several letters to you, but your responses circumvent /tiAa the specific concerns raised in my letters. I receive phrases like "We take our mission seriously'"

and "have focused on" or "we work with" or "the requirements of' - you offer reassurancesL.,"

but I still feel unassured.

A Regarding Oyster Creek, I still feel:

Terrorism is real (look at Madrid, London, The World Trade Center, Fort Dix)

It is not adequately defended (sure defense has been beefed up, but adequate ?)

The only sure way to prevent a successful terrorist attack is to cease operations VI It is entirely within the domain of the NRC to deny continued operation of the Oyster Creek Nuclear Power Plant, within your "primary mission." Which agency would deny locating a nuclear plant in Jersey City or Midtown Manhattan?

Sincerely, cc Governor Jon Corzine Senator Frank R. Lautenberg Senator Robert Menendez Congressman Jim Saxton Julia L. Huff, Esq.

Richard Webster, Esq.
