Document Control Desk Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station Unit No. 2; Docket No. 50-4 10 Extension of Ten-Year Program Intervals In accordance with the applicable editions of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code,Section XI, paragraph IWA-2430(d) for components inspected under Program B, each inspection interval may be extended or decreased by as much as one year. Adjustments shall not cause successive intervals to be altered by more than one year from the original pattern of intervals.
This letter provides notification that the Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station, LLC (NMPNS), Unit 2 current Second Ten-Year Inservice Inspection Interval and the current First Ten-Year Containment Inspection Interval, both of which started on April 5, 1998 and were scheduled to end on April 4, 2008, are being extended to December 31, 2008, approximately a nine month extension.
