In the referenced letter, FPL Energy Duane Arnold, LLC (FPL Energy Duane Arnold) requested an amendment to the Technical Specifications (TS) for the Duane Arnold Energy Center (DAEC). Included in those requested changes were revisions to Limiting Condition for Operation (LCO) 3.6.3.2, Primary Containment Oxygen Concentration.

FPL Energy Duane Arnold hereby requests that those changes pertaining to LCO 3.6.3.2 be withdrawn. The remaining portions of the original amendment request related to deletion of LCO 3.6.3.1, Containment Atmosphere Dilution (CAD) System, are unchanged by this letter.

This letter makes no new commitments or changes to any existing commitments.
