Indian Point Energy Center Status Report January 19, 2007 Operational Status Unit 2 is operating at 100% and has been on-line for 50 days. Unit 3 is operating at 100% reactor power and has been on-line for 182 days.

Groundwater Investigation Update The groundwater investigation team has been examining the Unit 1 Containment Spray Sump to determine the extent of groundwater beneath Unit 1. Drilling will continue to develop a sample point.

Inspection of the Unit 2 Spent Fuel Pool Transfer Canal will begin in February to inspect potential indications of leaks in the liner of the canal.

th Tracer Tests of the monitoring wells will begin January 29. For the test, teabag sized collectors will be placed in specific wells. The dye flow in the groundwater will be used to confirm the hydrology of the site.
