Re: IPEC U-2 SFP Fuel Pin Break
Dear Tim,
As you know, the NRC splits the riverfront and boundary wells each time they are sampled and every initial sample of each new onsite wells. The containment spray sump well initial sample was only 1 liter and may not be sufficient for low detection sensitivity. I am interested in getting a 1 gallon sample as is customary, therefore, I will observe the sample collection tomorrow morning for both NRC and DEC, so you do not need to send someone to the site.
- Regards, Jim

Hello Jim, Will this fuel pin break affect your ability to observe the sample collection for the CSS?
If so I need to know ASAP so I can talk to Alex.
He came in sick today to arrange for the sampling effort, and has indicated that if not needed he is going back home and crawling into bed!
- Thanks, Tim CC:
