SUBJECT:
DIFFERING PROFESSIONAL OPINION (DPO) PANEL RESPONSE TO DPO-2006-002 - FINAL REPORT By memorandum dated June 2, 2006, you established a Differing Professional Opinion (DPO) Ad Hoc Review Panel to review the DPO pertaining to the NRC staff decision to allow the installation of new emergency core cooling system sump strainers in Oconee, Units 1 and 2.
The panel reviewed the matters raised by the Submitter and detailed the results of the panel's evaluation in the DPO panel report submitted to you on November 13, 2006. As of today, the Submitter-provided no comments to the report and the panel now considers the November 13, 2006 version as its final report.
