SUBJECT:
BYRON STATION, UNIT NOS. 1 AND 2, AND BRAIDWOOD STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2 - CORRECTION LETTER RE: STEAM GENERATOR AMENDMENTS (TAC NOS. MC8966, MC8967, MC8968, AND MC8969)
Dear Mr. Crane:
By letter dated March 30, 2007, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) issued Amendment No. 150 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-37 and Amendment No. 150 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-66 for the Byron Station, Unit Nos. 1 and 2 (Byron),
respectively, and Amendment No. 144 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-72 and Amendment No. 144 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-77 for the Braidwood Station, Units 1 and 2 (Braidwood), respectively. The amendments issued revised license and technical specification (TS) pages which incorporated changes to the steam generator tube surveillance program.
The letter dated March 30, 2007, incorrectly issued TS table of contents page ii for all four units.
The TSs for Byron and Braidwood do not contain table of contents. Accordingly, TS page ii for all four units is removed. The letter dated March 30, 2007, also issued an incorrect license page three for Byron Station Unit No. 1. The issued license page three for Byron Station Unit No.1 is replaced by the enclosed license page. These changes are administrative and do not change the safety evaluation issued March 30, 2007.
Sincerely,
/RA/
