Dear Mr. Peterson:

This letter confirms the conversation between Ms. Kay Crane, of your staff, and Mr. Joseph Brady, of this office, concerning a Category 1 public meeting which has been scheduled for April 30, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. A meeting notice, which provides additional details, is enclosed.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the NRC Reactor Oversight Process Annual Assessment of the McGuire Nuclear Station.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's Agencywide Document Access and Management System (ADAMS).
