Dear Mr. Scarola:
This letter confirms the telephone conversation between Ms. Annette Pope of your staff and myself of this office on March 8, 2007, concerning a Regulatory Meeting (Category One) which has been scheduled for April 5, 2007, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and a Management Meeting (Category One) which has been scheduled for April 5, 2007, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. The meeting notices, which provide additional details, are enclosed. The purposes of the meetings are to discuss the trip of emergency diesel generator (EDG) #1 and failure of engine crankshaft bearing on November 2, 2006, and to discuss Brunswick site and EDG improvements. These meetings are being conducted at your request.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosures will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's Agencywide Document Access and Management System (ADAMS).
