i OCIS-328227-003 Page 3 o f 4 Rev. 0 4.2 Description o f Repair 4.2.1 This repair shall consist o f placing a protective/sealing layer o f Low Density Silicone Elastomer (LDSE) manufactured by PROMATEC, Inc. over a f i l l layer o f Dow Corning 3-6548 Silicone RTV Foam.

The RTV Foam shall be i n s t a l l e d i n the excavation t o a l e v e l approximately 7 1/2 inch below the existing finished concrete f l o o r elevation.

It i s suggested that M&C produce a wedge o f the RTV material outside the Drywell.

This wedge should be approximately 16"M X 40"L. Maximum depth should be about 18" a t one end taper down t o approximately 1/2" on the other end.

M i x and place the foam f o r t h i s wedge per the manufacturer's instructions on four placements o f approximately equal heights.

Place a t h i n layer o f RTV foam on the bottom o f the excavation.

Immediately replace the f i t t e d wedge.

F i l l any gaps between the sides o f the excavation and the wedge with additional RTV foam.

Place additional foam on top of the wedge ( i f required) t o ensure the level o f the cured RTV foam w i l l be approximately 1 1/2" below the finished level o f the concrete floor.
