Dear Mr. Marnish:
This is the State of Delaware's request to obtain Potassium Iodide (K)for distribution to the general public. 'The state will use KI as a supplemental protective action for the emergency planning zone population's for the Salem/Hope Creek Nuclear Generating Stations. The following information supports Delaware's request for replenishing the existing State's stockpiles of 130 mg and 65 mg tablets as indicated in the NRC's letter dated October 26, 2006.

We are requesting 100,000 tablets (130 mug) for adults over 18 and 60,000 doses (65 mg) for birth to adolescents.
