SOUTH TEXAS PROJECT, UNIT 2 - RE: WITHDRAWAL OF AMENDMENT REQUEST TO MODIFY TECHNICIAL SPECIFICATIONS PERTAINING TO ALLOWED OUTAGE TIME FOR TS 3.7.4, ESSENTIAL COOLING WATER SYSTEM (TAC NO. MD3467)
Dear Mr. Sheppard:
By letter dated November 6, 2006, you applied for an amendment to the South Texas Project, Unit 2, Facility Operating License No. NPF-80. The proposed change would have modified the facility technical specifications (TSs) pertaining to the allowed outage time (AOT) for Technical Specification 3.7.4, Essential Cooling Water System, and the associated TSs for those systems supported by the Essential Cooling Water System, by extension of the AOT of an additional 7 days. Subsequently, by letter dated November 28, 2006, you withdrew the amendment request.
The purpose of this letter is to advise that the above cited application is being treated as withdrawn. A Notice of Consideration of Issuance of the proposed amendment had not been published in the Federal Register.
