)i-fL On Friday, June 16, 2006, the NRR staff issued the Callaway license amendment that revises the TS to incorporate Conditions, Required Actions, and Completion Times for inoperable actuator trains associated with the MSIVs.-It allows a 72-hour Completion Time to restore an MSIV actuator train to OPERABLE status when one MSIV actuator train is found inoperable. The importance of the Callaway TS amendment became apparent on the morning of Friday, June 16, when one MSIV actuator train was found inoperable, at Callaway due to low accumulator pressure.
The licensee considered the TS changes to be needed as additional requirements over those currently contained in the TS and, in a letter dated May 26, 2005, submitted its proposed TS change under the guidance of Administrative Letter 98-10 to address this concern by providing Conditions, Req.uied Actions and Completion.Times for inoperable MSV atuator train_..
