III VV f4kmj - 'tA69Uý5t e--'4, e-'UUo.U0U ii, A~u~s ~', ~UO.OC ageý 1 Indian Point Energy Center Status Report August 24, 2006 Operational Status Indian Point Unit 2 remains off-line following a problem with a heater drain tank pump level control system. An investigation determined that the malfunction was due to a power supply failure on a controller in the water level control system. This has been repaired and Unit 2 is presently at - 8% Reactor Power and preparing to roll the turbine in preparation for synchronization of the main generator to the electrical grid this evening.
IP2 safely operated for 97 continuous days.
Indian Point Unit 3 is at 100% reactor power and has been on line 34 days.
