USGS Wells
- John, We are going ahead with the plan of sampling the USGS Wells for background groundwater data. We plan to analyze for H-3, Sr-90, and gamma emitters. DOH will likely do Gross Alpha/Beta as well since they use them as indicators for many sites, including IP.
Don Mayer will be here in Albany Wed. for RCRA issues and I will speak with him at that time. Do you have any specific needs re: dates, times, sample size, etc. to make it easier for NRC to participate in the split sampling effort? If your staff will not be available, or you choose not to use their time for this, we can certainly collect an aliquot for you.
Just let me know.
