Dear Mr. Gannon:
This letter confirms the telephone conversation between Mr. David Corlett of your staff and myself of this office on September 26, 2006, concerning a Regulatory Meeting (Category One) which has been scheduled for October 13, 2006, at 10:15 (DST) a.m. The meeting notice, which provides additional details, is enclosed. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the Shearon Harris train A Emergency Service Chilled Water (ESCW) chiller being inoperable for a period of time in excess of that permitted by the Technical Specification 3.7.13, and is being conducted at your request.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's Agencywide Document Access and Management System (ADAMS).
