MILLSTONE POWER STATION, UNIT NO. 2 - RE: CURRENT CORE PERFORMANCE DATA (TAC NO. MC6505)
Dear Mr. Christian:
By letter dated December 22, 2004, Dominion Nuclear Connecticut (DNC) provided current Millstone Power Station, Unit No. 2 (MPS2) core performance data to support Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff source term research. The provided information was a follow-up to the MPS2 selective implementation of the alternative source term amendment that was issued September 20, 2004, and the associated NRC staff discussions with DNC regarding potential implications on fission gas gap fractions when the burnup and linear heat rate values exceeded the Regulatory Guide 1.183 criteria. The NRC staff thanks DNC for providing the useful power histories information.
Sincerely,
/RA by G. Ed Miller for/
