Who i a Indian Point Energy Center Status Report June 13,2006 Operational Status IP2 is currently at 100% reactor power; the unit has been on line for 26 days and Unit 3 is operating at 100% reactor power and has been on-line for 252 days.
Groundwater Investigation - MW-48 Results Entergy has obtained sample results from MW-48, a well located on the southern edge of the Indian Point property close to the Hudson River. Monitoring Well-48 has two sample locations, one at 23 ft. and the deeper one at 38 ft. (See diagram below).

<624 ft)I II ND= No detectable activity The May 22 sample was re-counted at Entergy's Fitzpatrick lab and the slightly elevated tritium result for the 23-foot depth was confirmed.
The June 9 sample results shown in the table above were counted at Indian Point.
The June 9 sample was split with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and will be sent to outside labs for independent analysis. The sample location has been added to our routine environmental monitoring program and is currently tested monthly.
Hydrology studies indicate that groundwater in that location flows westerly to the Hudson River.
