Dear Mr. Scarola:
This refers to the meeting conducted at your request at the Region II Office in Atlanta, Georgia on June 22, 2006. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the overall plant status and initiatives at Brunswick Steam Electric Plant, Units 1 and 2. Enclosed is a list of attendees.
The discussions focused on the following topics: Management Changes, Brunswick Unit 2 Unplanned Power Changes, Brunswick Unit 1 Outage and Unit 2 Mid Cycle Outage Activities, Operational Focus, Results of extended Power Uprate, License Renewal, Spent Fuel Shipping Overview, and Dry Cask Storage Plans. The meeting was informative and did not result in any specific action items or decisions.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's document system (ADAMS).
