FORTHCOMING MEETING WITH WOLF CREEK NUCLEAR OPERATING CORPORATION AND UNION ELECTRIC COMPANY DATE & TIME: Wednesday, August 16, 2006 08:15 a.m. - 11:30 noon LOCATION: U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission One White Flint North 11555 Rockville Pike, Room 3-B-2 Rockville, Maryland PURPOSE: The licensees requested the meeting for them to explain the design of the main steam isolation valve (MSIV) at their plants, and the effect of the MSIV actuator trains on the operation of the MSIVs. This discussion is not part of any licensing action involving these plants.

  • This is a Category 1 Meeting. The public is invited to observe this meeting and will have one or more opportunities to communicate with the NRC after the business portion, but before the meeting is adjourned.
