-1' April 4, 2006 Operational Status Indian Point Unit 2 is operating at 100% and has been on line 34 days. Indian Point Unit 3 is operating at 100% reactor power and has been on-line for 182 days.
Groundwater Investigation Update on Phase 2 wells Entergy has completed the installation of 23 new monitoring wells to characterize the flow of groundwater on site.
Most of the phase 2 wells have been sampled. There are no detectable or trace levels of tritium except adjacent to the discharge canal and next to the IP1 Fuel Building. The following table summarizes the sample results for the wells that have sample results:

I Qt4o 'P I Packer tests in which samples are pumped from various heights in the water column are being conducted on wells this week There has been no radioactivity detected in any off-site monitoring well. There is no health or safety impact from these releases.
Status Report Available on JIC Website The Indian Point status report is now available on the new Joint Information Center web site. The web site is part of the virtual news room concept that is being developed for public emergency information. The web site will also include the latest radiological release information for Indian Point.
