RANCHO SECO NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION - ACCEPTANCE REVIEW OF LICENSE TERMINATION PLAN (TAC NO. L52668)
Dear Mr. Redeker:
The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff has completed its acceptance review of the Rancho Seco Nuclear Generating Station License Termination Plan (LTP) submitted by letter dated April 12, 2006. Based on our review, we have determined that the LTP provides sufficient information for the staff to proceed with our detailed technical review.
To complete the technical review, the staff will require additional supporting information and/or documentation. A request for additional information and/or supporting documentation will be forwarded to you in the next several months.
A Federal Register notice related to the LTP, as required by 10 CFR 50.82(a)(9)(iii), will be published in the next few weeks.
